What Are Forty Kinds Of Charity In Islam???

The forty kinds of charity in Islam with reference to Hadith are as follows:

1. Avoiding harming others is charity. [Bukhari: 2518]
2. It is charity to show the way to the blind. [Ibn Habban: 3368]
3. Talking loudly to the deaf is charity. [Ibn Habban: 3368]
4. Telling a deaf person to understand that it is charity. [Ibn Habban: 3377]
5. Helping a weak person is charity. [Ibn Habban: 3377]
6. Removing stones, thorns and bones from the path is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
7. It is charity to help the one who calls for help. [Ibn Habban: 3377]
8. Giving water to a brother from his bucket is charity. [Tirmidhi: 1956]
9. It is charity to show the way to a lost person. [Tirmidhi: 1956]
10. Saying La ilaha illa Allah is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
11. Saying Subhan Allah is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
12. Saying Alhamdulillah is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
13. Saying Allahu Akbar is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
14. Saying istighfarullah is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
15. Ordering goodness is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
16. Stopping evil is charity. [Muslim: 1007]
17. Spending on one's family with the intention of reward is charity. [Bukhari: 55]
18. Doing justice between two people is charity. [Bukhari: 2518]
19. It is Sadaqah to put a man on a ride or to carry his belongings and put him on a ride. [Bukhari: 2518]
20. Saying good things is charity. [Bukhari: 2589]
21. Every step taken for prayers is a charity. [Bukhari: 2518]
22. Removing something painful from the path is charity. [Bukhari: 2518]
23. Eating itself is charity. [Feminine - Grave: 9185]
24. Feeding your son is charity. [Feminine - Grave: 9185]
25. Feeding his wife is charity. [Feminine - Grave: 9185]
26. Feeding one's servant is charity. [Feminine - Grave: 9185]
27. Helping a needy person in need is charity. [Female: 253]
28. Meeting your brother with a smile is charity. [Tirmidhi: 1963]
29. Giving a sip of water is charity. [Abu Yali: 2434]
30. Helping one's brother is charity. [Abu Yali: 2434]
31. Greeting the recipient is charity. [Abu Dawud: 5243]
32. Reconciliation is charity. [Bukhari - Date: 259/3]
33. Whatever you eat from your tree or crop is charity for you. [Muslim: 1553]
34. Feeding the hungry is charity. [Bayhaqi - Section: 3367]
35. Watering is charity. [Bayhaqi - Section: 3368]
36. Giving twice a loan is equivalent to giving charity once. [Ibn Majah: 3430]
37. It is charity to have a man ride on it. [Muslim: 1009]
38. It is charity to guide someone on the land of error. [Tirmidhi: 1963]
39. Helping the needy is charity. [Ibn Habban: 3368]
40. Teaching a Muslim brother by learning knowledge is charity. [Ibn Majah: 243]
